Your First Visit
Your first visit is an important appointment because it allows Dr. Boynton to personally examine your condition and create a customized treatment plan based on your individual needs. Our doctor will listen to your concerns about your oral health, review your medical history, and discuss all of your options for treatment.

What to Bring
Please bring these items with you to the consultation appointment:
- Referral slip, if applicable
- Any diagnostic images, such as X-rays and 3D scans, from your general dentist or referring specialist
- Health and/or dental insurance information
- List of current medications (heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
- Valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license
- Form of payment (cash, check, credit card)
You can complete the patient registration forms online ahead of time. If you do not complete the online forms, we ask that you arrive at your appointment a few minutes early to fill out the necessary paperwork.
Parents of Minors
Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to the consultation appointment.
What to Expect
The first appointment is a time for you to get to know Dr. Boynton. We will examine your oral health, discuss your goals for treatment, and talk about your options for achieving these goals. Our front desk staff will explain the payment and financing options available so you know what to expect prior to treatment. If you have any questions, this is an excellent time to ask, and our team will be happy to address them.

Our offices in Sonoma and Napa, California, are outfitted with advanced 3D scanning technology. With these tools, we can provide more accurate diagnoses and deliver more optimal clinical outcomes.
Financial & Insurance Information
Napa Sonoma Oral Surgery & Dental Implants works with many insurance companies and accepts several methods of payment. The total cost of treatment varies for each patient. At the first visit, we will provide a cost estimate based on the type of treatment you need.
